چکیده

The rabble-rousing skin condition can be conventionally treated, but due to some demerits, there is a need find novel approach with an appropriate release profile. research work narrates the optimization of topical delivery system Fluocinolone acetonide loaded in pluronic lecithin organogel. preliminary studies were carried out and, ternary phase diagram was established by Chemix school version 3.60. formulation optimized taking different concentration polymers as independent and viscosity drug (6 h) dependent variables applying 32 full factorial design. batch further compared marketed preparation also kept for stability study. profile exhibited sustained up 6 h (77.00%). It gave ex vivo (90.64%) which more prolonged than cutaneous disposition found higher. Besides, texture analysis that drug. However, proof effectiveness formulated organogel will require study future aspects. In nutshell, proposed fluocinolone simplest promising dosage form treatment psoriasis.

Topical Delivery of Flurbiprofen from Pluronic Lecithin Organogel

The purpose of this research is to formulate and evaluate the suitability of pluronic lecithin organogels containing flurbiprofen for topical application. Four formulations were developed using flurbiprofen, lecithin, Pluronic F127, isopropyl palmitate, water, sorbic acid and potassium sorbate were coded as FL1, FL2, FL3 and FL4. All the formulations carried 30% w/w of lecithin phase and 70% w/...

Pluronic® F-127 and Pluronic Lecithin Organogel (PLO): main features and their applications in topical and transdermal administration of drugs.

Topical drug treatment aims at providing high concentrations of drugs at the site of application so as to avoid adverse systemic effects associated with oral administration. Smart polymers, or stimuli-responsive polymers, are able to respond to a stimulus by showing physical or chemical changes in their behaviour as, for example, the delivery of the drug carried by them. The thermo-responsive n...

In vitro percutaneous absorption of ketoprofen and testosterone: comparison of pluronic lecithin organogel vs. pentravan cream.

An in vitro human percutaneous absorption study was conducted to assess the delivery of ketoprofen and testosterone from two base formulations, a Pluronic lecithin organogel and Pentravan Cream. Each formulation was applied to ex vivo human trunk skin (from three skin donors) on triplicate sections mounted onto Franz Diffusion Cells. Following a 5-mcL/cm2 applied dose, serial dermal receptor so...

Evaluation of transdermal morphine and fentanyl pluronic lecithin organogel administration in dogs.

Transdermal administration of morphine and fentanyl using a pluronic lecithin organogel was evaluated in dogs. IV administration of morphine and fentanyl resulted in therapeutic serum drug concentrations. Following transdermal administration, however, median serum drug concentrations were never above the limit of quantitation for morphine or fentanyl. These findings indicate that use ofa pluron...
